Our Fabric

The Brouhaha is wrapped in our Rising Tide Broadside™ fabric, a slipcover system we developed for homes that don’t tiptoe around real life. The high-performance polyester blend is tightly woven to resist stains, fuzz, and fading — but soft enough to invite all-day lounging.

The slipcovers are fully removable and machine-washable, designed to handle juice boxes, muddy paws, a bit of Barolo in the wrong place, and everything in between. Just as importantly, it won’t cling to every hair or tumbleweed of fur that wanders by.

It’s the rare kind of fabric that can take a hit and still look like it has its life together.

To clean your covers:

• Unzip and remove them (yes, it’s easy).
  
• Machine wash on cold with mild detergent.
  
• Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
  
• Pop them back on and move on with your day.
  

To keep things looking sharp:

• Rotate covers every few months if they get heavy use.
  
• Spot clean spills as they happen — a damp cloth and mild soap go a long way.
  

What to avoid:

• Bleach, fabric softeners, or high heat.

Our seats are intentionally firm — engineered with premium high-density foam so they retain their shape over time. Why? Because we believe your sofa shouldn’t need constant fluffing, flipping, or babying to look good and feel great. This isn’t the kind of cushion you melt into — it’s the kind that supports you, holds its shape, and stays looking sharp for years.

If your back is working hard carrying the weight of the day — kids, tools, groceries — it will love our firm cushions too. There's nothing better for your back health.

Those looking for something ultra-soft or cloud-like, this isn't it. But if you’re after a sofa that earns its keep in a house full of feet, paws, pizza nights, and Sunday naps? You’ve found it.

Our Suspension System

Beneath each cushion is a grid of polypropylene webbing — a water-resistant, seatbelt-like material that provides steady, reliable support without the squeaks or sagging.

Polypropylene doesn’t stretch or rot like jute, and unlike spring systems, it won’t poke, squeak, or require specialty repairs if something goes wrong. It’s the kind of no-nonsense suspension that works hard quietly, keeping the shape and feel of your sectional intact for years to come.

Our Frames

We build our frames from mango wood, a dense, sustainable hardwood with the strength and structure of oak. Every frame is corner-blocked and reinforced with cross-bracing — over-engineered by design, so you’ll feel the quality the moment it’s delivered.

The legs are built directly into the frame, not screwed on later — which makes them stronger and doubles as structural bracing. You’ll notice the difference in both stability and weight.

Despite the heft, every piece is doorway-conscious. At 29.5” tall, the Brouhaha is designed to fit through most standard doorways when turned on its side — no disassembly or dramatic hallway negotiations required. That said, we still recommend measuring your space just to be sure, especially in older homes with narrower doors or sharp hallway turns.

Order Processing Time
All Brouhaha are currently handmade to order, with an approx ~18-20 week lead time.

By only making furniture on a made to order basis, while it does take longer, it allows us to offer the prices we do.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times
We use couriers to personally deliver all furniture anywhere in the Continental United States for a flat-rate delivery fee of $375, regardless of order size.

Upon completion of your furniture, you will be contacted via the contact info you leave at checkout to coordinate the exact delivery date and time of your furniture.

Estimated delivery time is 1-14 business days and will vary based on where you live.

Delivery is "threshold" which includes bringing the furniture inside your home or business. However, it does not include unpacking the furniture and removing the trash. If you are a senior, disabled, or have other special circumstances regarding delivery, please let us know and we'll be happy to assist.

In-person pickup is FREE, and is also an available option for all orders. In-person pickup is conducted by appointment only in Beloit, WI (53511).
